OUR STORY

Jon Kotman founded Kotman Technology as a high school student in 2001.

BACK THEN…

His mother would drive him around to clients’ homes in Kalamazoo, Michigan to fix their computer problems. By the time he graduated high school, Jon had over 175 residential and small business clients.

When Jon moved back to Fresno, it was like coming home. He had lived here once before and had some childhood friends still in the area. Jon went to Fresno State and began to lay the foundation for Kotman Technology in the Central Valley. While he was establishing roots here, Ryan Boender, a friend from high school was hired to run the Michigan side of things.

As the business grew, Kotman Technology moved from a house, to sub-letting space from an attorney, to landing in its current home at Bitwise Industries.

TODAY…

We serve companies - both big and small - supporting a range of businesses in a variety of industries such as manufacturing, agriculture, financial, education, etc. Our service areas include Central California - Fresno, Clovis, Visalia, and beyond - as well as Kalamazoo, Michigan.

You name it, we’ve likely done it. There isn’t anything we’re afraid to tackle. Our service model is completely scalable to meet your needs and keep your operations running smoothly.

Our relationship with Bitwise Industries goes back to our days officing out of Walter Wilhem Law Group. A guy named Jake Soberal was an attorney there at the time and was just getting started on this concept called Bitwise. Jake approached Jon with the idea of moving downtown to be a part of this movement.

We asked two questions – is there parking and how’s the building infrastructure? We made the decision to move downtown and have loved every minute of it.

We provide Internet to the South Stadium building as well as monitoring and maintaining the entire network for all 3 current Bitwise properties. As Bitwise continues to expand and grow across the Valley, we are excited to grow with them.
